Soft Tissue Surgery

We provide surgical options in a clean and safe environment. Most importantly, our veterinary team can closely track each animal’s vital condition during surgery.

Soft tissue surgery is a large subject, as it comprises any surgery that is not orthopedic. Procedures can range from simple cyst removals to complex and involved operations. Areas covered include ear, nose and throat, cardiothoracic, hepatic, gastrointestinal, urogenital, skin reconstructive and oncological surgeries.

Orthopedic Surgery

We are proud to offer orthopedic surgical procedures for injuries and conditions to soft tissue areas of your pet’s body. Orthopedic surgeries include those performed to repair bone (such as fractures) and joints. We utilize state of the art diagnostic imaging to enhance our capabilities for soft tissue surgery, ensuring that your pet has access to the highest standard of veterinary medicine.

Our surgical team is highly trained and experienced in soft tissue orthopedic procedures, so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands. We promise to communicate with you throughout the process and make your pet’s surgery as stress-free as possible.

Orthopedic Services at Asher Animal Clinic

When a patient suffers a fracture or other orthopedic injury, the last thing you or your pet want is to wait weeks or months for treatment. Additionally, not all clients can travel to a specialty surgery center. At Asher Animal Clinic, we understand the urgency and need for timely and effective orthopedic care.

Meet Dr. Dailey

Dr. Dailey is trained in soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands. He and his staff provide comprehensive orthopedic services tailored to your pet’s unique needs.

Comprehensive Orthopedic Services

We offer a range of orthopedic treatments to ensure the best possible outcomes for your pet:

TPLO Surgery

A cranial cruciate ligament or CCL tear is a common knee injury in dogs. Similar to the ACL in humans, when a dog suffers a CCL tear, the injury causes pain and most pets are unable to walk normally. If left untreated, the result is further joint damage, pain, and osteoarthritis.

Fracture Repair

Swift and precise fracture repair is crucial to ensure proper healing and reduce pain. Our team utilizes advanced techniques to repair fractures, promoting quick recovery and restored mobility.

Lateral Sutures

Lateral suture techniques are commonly used to stabilize the knee joint in dogs suffering from cranial cruciate ligament injuries. This procedure helps restore your pet’s mobility and alleviate discomfort.

Luxating Patella

Luxating patella, or kneecap dislocation, is a common orthopedic issue in pets. Our team specializes in corrective surgeries to prevent future dislocations and improve your pet’s quality of life.

Mass Removal

Orthopedic mass removal involves the extraction of benign or malignant growths that may affect your pet’s bones or joints. Early intervention is key to preventing complications and ensuring your pet’s well-being.

FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy)

FHO is a surgical procedure performed to alleviate pain and improve mobility in pets with hip dysplasia or severe hip injuries. By removing the femoral head, we create a false joint, allowing for pain-free movement.

Safety and Comfort

Dr. Dailey and his staff perform pre-anesthetic bloodwork and take every precaution to keep patients safe and comfortable before, during, and after their procedure. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a compassionate team dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.
